Health & Safety AT HOPE
We are here to make your stay at HOPE SPRINGS relaxing and enjoyable, and we want our guests and our team to feel safe. HOPE SPRINGS is a member of the California Hotel and Lodging Association and they have certified us as a Safe and Clean Facility.
ACCESSIBILITY & GUEST AWARENESS
At Hope Springs, we believe comfort begins with awareness.
As a historic, mid-century property, portions of the hotel reflect the design and layout of an earlier era. While this adds much of the space’s character and charm, it also means that not all areas meet modern accessibility standards.
We continue to make thoughtful improvements to support ease of movement and guest safety. Throughout the property, you’ll find added handrails, pathway markers, and subtle signage designed to help guide you comfortably through the space.
A Living Desert Environment
Our setting is part of what makes Hope special—but it also asks for a bit of mindfulness.
Hope Springs exists within the natural desert landscape, where the land is shared with native plants and wildlife. Here, we don’t reshape the desert—we learn to move gently within it.
Desert conditions can shift quickly, with changes in temperature, wind, and light throughout the day. The terrain may include uneven surfaces, and the surrounding habitat is home to local wildlife. Guests may encounter bees, desert insects, or the occasional coyote in the area.
If you have sensitivities, please note that desert environments can include:
airborne dust and pollen
natural mineral scents
contact with cactus or desert plants
We encourage guests to move mindfully, wear appropriate footwear, and take in the environment at a comfortable pace.
Our Approach
We aim to create a space that is both welcoming and respectful—of our guests and of the environment we inhabit.
If you have specific accessibility needs or questions prior to your stay, we encourage you to reach out directly. We are always happy to provide guidance on room selection and property layout so you can make the most of your time here.
EMPLOYEE HEALTH & SAFETY
Our employees are required to comply with any health and safety protocols and restrictions required by Riverside County. This includes completing a COVID-19 Emergency Screening Procedure and sign off before arriving at HOPE SPRINGS for their workday (during the COVID-19 restriction period) and a self-administered temperature check at home. Employees with symptoms will remain at home until they are fully recovered, and all staff will wear face masks during a pandemic, as required by Riverside County.
GUEST ACCOMMODATIONS & PUBLIC SPACES
HOPE SPRINGS follows the Center for Disease Controls and Preventions Cleaning and Disinfecting guidelines.
Our cleaning practices in the lobby and outdoor public spaces will occur more frequently with a concentration on high touch areas (e.g. door handles).
Our pools' water is following the CDC guidelines for cleaning and disinfecting.
GUEST ROOMS
All of the guest rooms at HOPE SPRINGS have their own entrance from the outside with no closed hallways or elevators.
Each guest room has its own energy efficient ductless air-cooling system, so there are no ducts connecting any of the rooms.
Service to rooms will occur prior to guests' arrival and post-departure. If more towels or other service are needed, this may be arranged with the manager.
FOOD & BEVERAGE
We will be serving a continental breakfast that will be available for pick-up in the lobby each morning at a pre-arranged time with our Manager.
